Councillor | Former Mayor of Barking and Dagenham
Cllr Princess Bright Olaifa joins Influence Conference 2026 on Saturday 19th September.
Princess Bright served as Mayor of Barking and Dagenham for the 2025/26 municipal year and continues to serve as a councillor in the borough.
During her mayoral year, she represented one of London’s most diverse communities and welcomed Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla during their February 2026 visit to Barking and Dagenham.
Her perspective brings public leadership, civic service, community and representation into the Influence conversation and reinforces a central principle of the conference: influence has no single industry.
It can be exercised in a business, through a profession, in public life, through creativity or within the communities we serve.
